Samsung introduced the Now Bar feature in the One UI 7 version alongside the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year. It is a unique feature that lets users stay updated with sports scores and more on the lock screens. The company’s new slick Now Bar seems to be working fine on the latest Galaxy S25 series flagships. However, the new Now Bar isn’t pulling up live sports scores on the Galaxy S24 series of devices.
Galaxy S24 users running One UI 7 beta aren’t getting sports scores on the lock screen
Many users of the Galaxy S24 series devices running One UI 7 say Google’s Sports integration isn’t showing any results on the lock screen. SammyGuru reports that Google’s Sports feed seems broken on the Galaxy S24 series. The live sports score integration from Google isn’t showing any results at all, even after following teams and switching on this feature in Google’s Discover feed.
It doesn’t seem to be an isolated issue, as many Galaxy S24 users have reported problems with live sports scores on their devices online.
The Now Bar integration for Google Sports offers real-time updates on your favorite sports teams. It utilizes artificial intelligence to analyze your Google activity to deliver sports updates as per your preferences. Samsung recently released the Now Bar feature for the Galaxy S24 series alongside the One UI 7 beta update.
However, it appears that something is failing in the feed process, which is preventing it from showing live sports scores.
A fix could arrive with the stable One UI 7 update
As of now, there’s no proper solution to fix the sports scores bug in the Now Bar on the Galaxy S24. You can’t fix it manually by clearing the Google app’s cache or updating to the latest version. Samsung should roll out the stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series in the next couple of weeks, which could fix the problem with the sports scores.
