The OnePlus 13T is right around the corner, and new information just keeps on coming. OnePlus has just confirmed some OnePlus 13T camera details, while the camera also shared some camera samples too.
Official OnePlus 13T camera details are now here, two 50-megapixel cameras coming
Let’s talk about the camera details first. The company confirmed that the OnePlus 13T will offer two 50-megapixel cameras, as expected. The main camera will use Sony’s sensor, it’ll likely be the LYT-700, but that part hasn’t been confirmed.
The second 50-megapixel camera will be a telephoto unit, with a 2x telephoto lens. Unfortunately, it will offer 2x optical zoom only, but OnePlus touts ‘4x lossless zoom’ thanks to software. The exact camera sensor for that camera hasn’t been confirmed yet.
In addition to sharing this information, OnePlus also shared some 2x telephoto portrait camera samples from the device. That is probably the main reason the company used a 2x telephoto lens, for portraits. You can check them out below.
The photo samples that OnePlus shared look great
These images look great, actually. They’re really well-balanced, well, all but the last one, on which a camera filter was used, obviously. The colors are punchy, the exposure is just right, and the camera images are sharp. You can access the originals by clicking here.
The OnePlus 13T’s design is not a secret any longer, not at all. The device appeared in its first official video recently, while its complete color range has been shown too. Even an unofficial unboxing of the phone appeared.
This device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while it will also include a 6.3-inch display. It will be a compact flagship smartphone from the company, basically. A flat display will be on board, along with extremely thin bezels.
Its battery capacity will be at least 6,000mAh, which is huge for this size of a phone. Extremely fast wired and wireless charging will also be on offer, and more. The device will become official on April 24 in China.
